Travel with us to Portland to see the Book-It adaptation of Great Expectations at Portland Center Stage, February 13, 2016.
Based on Charles Dickens’ classic coming of age novel, Great Expectations tells the adventures of the Victorian orphan Pip. As a boy, Pip has three encounters with people that will change his life: the escaped convict Magwitch, the bewitching and cold Estella, and the unhinged Miss Havisham. When Pip comes into an unforeseen fortune and begins the life of a gentleman, though his past is not so easily left behind, and the surprising adventures of his new life are decidedly unexpected. Directed by Jane Jones.

Bringing Books to Life Fundraising Breakfast
Thank you for your support of our annual Bringing Books to Life breakfast, October 22, 2015. With your support we raised more than $30,000 which will fund our touring stories, in-class residencies, teacher training, and local events. Last year we reached 60,000 students and educators throughout Washington State with Book-It programming.
