Book-It holds several fun donor events every year to deepen your understanding of the work that makes the magic on stage happen.
Literature of Champions: Artistic and Managing Director Happy Hour, December 11, 2020
Caldecott Medal Partners (donors $500 and up) will be invited for a discussion with Book-It’s Artistic Director, Gus Menary, and our Managing Director, Kayti Barnett-O’Brien, on December 11th. Bring your favorite beverage and join us virtually to talk about books and theatre and whatever else is on your mind.
Literature of Champions: Virtual Shop Tour, January 22, 2021
Explore the Book-It Scene Shop! Donors at the Pen Faulkner Award Partner level (donors $100 and up) can watch a virtual tour of the Book-It Scene Shop on January 22nd, hosted by Book-It’s Technical Director, Ben Radin.
Book-It Book Club Event, April 2021, date TBD
Let’s talk books and authors! Newbery Award Circle members (donors $1,000 and up) will be invited to our Book-It Book Club Event in April. This evening will highlight a guest from Book-It’s network of authors and literature experts. The speaker and date will be announced in 2021!
Tea & Tech: The Mandala of Sherlock Holmes, May 15, 2021
Donors at the National Book Award Partner level (donors $250 and up) will receive an invitation for two for a fun virtual Sherlock Holmes-inspired event on May 15th. Time and details of the event will be sent in the Spring.
